I can no longer save my input to icloud. What can I do to fix this problem?
I am using the Mac version of Ninox on 2 Macs. I have the database file hosted on
iCloud. When I look at
iCloud storage, I know it is taking up space, but it doesn't show up as file that I can copy or backup. Why is that? How can I backup my database, other than making an archive from time to time. I prefer automatic backups.
To call an unsecured or not CORS-aware endpoint: let response := do as server http(...) end do as server will still run in client context, when working with local or
iCloud databases (since there's no server). Thus, some endpoints are not reachable from local or
iCloud databases becouse of Apple's sandbox rules.
Password field, the table's trigger on create and the action button. 2. Encryption is planned. Local databases are stored at ~/Library/Containers/de.ninoxdb.ninox-mac.Ninox/Data/Documents/data
iCloud databases: ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/BJE6SD455T~de~ninoxdb~ninox-ios/data We plan to implement more flexibility for the layout of the start screen. Best regards, Frank
Did you create
iCloud databases? You have to pick "
iCloud" as store location when you create a database. A little cloud will appear on the db. Let me know if this helps or write to firstname.lastname@example.org Best regards, Alex
This post is really good but I also facing the same situation, my iClouds sync is not working also when I tried to setup it shows an error <a href="https://itunessupport.org/blog/fix-error-54-itunes/">itunes sync error 54</a>, so I really want a proper solution on how to remove this error as soon as possible.
When you say "cloud storage"... from your Mac.. is that
iCloud or Ninox Cloud? The value of the Ninox Cloud is YES.. it will sync across your devices (Mac App, iPad, Chrome, Android, iPhone, etc..) If Mac App is
iCloud.. then NO.. that will not sync to Android..
I have a new Mac, and copied over my entire installation (with migration assisant) and everything works as it previously did apart from Ninox
iCloud syncing. My Ninox database isn't syncing over
iCloud anymore (changes made on my new mac are not propagated to my other machine and iPhone, even after a full day). How can I restore syncing?
Hi Mick, absolutely, just make sure that your database is stored on
iCloud (cloud symbol attached to the database). If not: Database menu => Duplicate, Storage:
iCloud). On the other Mac, go to App Store => Purchases and install Ninox. This won't charge you twice. Best Frank
@Mike... WOW.. That is it.. or at least for me. If I hit an
iCloud hosted database.. From the Mac App or iPad.. it will find a string that is contained within another string.. How is that for a hidden treasure! If I hit a ninox cloud hosted database.. It will NOT find a string within a string using the Global Find (left navigation magnifying glass Find)..
