selecting a related field in Pivot view

Have a Pivot View  (great Feature) Year by Month from a date field and it displays the minimum value without issue. The second data field I wanted to show was the date of that minimum.   However the minimum value is selected from a small set of records. So what I want in day(date) of the minimum value may not be first or last etc.  Can I achieve this?
