More options for the View layout element

When you click on a record in the View layout element, it slides a duplicate Form View in with that record selected. It would be useful to be able have the option to use openTable(tableName, viewName) once the record is clicked so we could use a custom Form view for editing the record.

Another option would be to stay on the same Form view that the View layout element is on. We can currently use popupRecord(record(tableName, recordId)) to slide in a custom Form view. If that Form view contains a View layout element that constains records from the table we just left, it would be useful to be able to click on a record in the View layout element and have it fill in the fields on that custom Form with that record's information. Similar to what happens when we click on a record in Table view... it fills the Form view with that information.

Currently, if we click on a record in the View layout element which is on the custom Form view, it will slide in the Form view from the table the View layout element gets its information from.

I'm like a dog with a bone! Another option would be to allow editing in the View element itself. Let's say in your main table you have a filtered field and you have records that don't match the filter condition, but you want to change a record to match the condition. You could use a button to unhide the View element with the records that don't match the filter in main table and change the records you want and then hide the View element when you're finished.

Feature request :-) I've put it in our database.
